Paper Title:
Looking and Listening: Stonehenge and an ecological approach to the study of space.

Short Abstract:
This paper shows how sound can be used to investigate space and place. It suggests ways to categorise levels of acoustic interest in archaeological spaces, illustrated through various examples. It demonstrates the exploration of spaces by integrating sound within computer 3D video reconstructions, using Stonehenge as an example.
